With so many options out there, it is difficult to pinpoint just one University. Personally, I have attended 2 Universities, both in South Africa: UNISA and UCT. I believe that UNISA offers the best flexibility for the ambitious career-minded individuals. Through correspondence-study, it allows you to gain experience whilst completing your education, which is an important aspect today, given the cost living. On the other hand, UCT offers the best
On the other hand, UCT offers the best standard of education. To get in you need top marks or the ability to for achieving top marks; they have dedicated lecturers; internationally recognised qualifications; a range of extra-curricular sporting, academic and interest-related activities. What more can one ask for?
My experience is of course only limited to South Africa. Perhaps another member is able to give us some insight into universities in other African countries… Or have I hit the nail on the head? UCT is officially ranked as number 1 in Africa, after all!
